The last couple of days we have spent with Dianne and Peter where we visited the beach and a Noodle Bar in the evening and then the following day we saw the Roman Ruins in Dorchester.

Today we went to Barnstaple because Hilary's Great Grandfather was a vicar there as we had no information a phone call was made to her cousin who gave us a place name.
A bit of Google research gave us the Facebook page for the Church which I requested if anyone had any information and they supplied a list of vicars that had been there and on which he was listed being there in 1911.

Later this afternoon we travelled to Hartland Quay, it seems this area has one major road the A39 the rest are single track roads where we met several tractors and obviousally it is muck spreading season.

First port of call today was Clovelly which is a fishing village which is owned by one family where all the homes are rented out, because of the cobbled streets everything is delivered to the properties by donkey's pulling sledges.
