The children from Bocking School have been busy.

This week we had our first cold morning of the year at the marina.

Friday, 30 October 2020

Last night we had a great evening with Jacqui and John and the Jack Daniels flowed freely.

The last couple days we had little cruise to get the boat filled with diesel ready for the winter.

This month we celelbrated Maisie's tenth birthday, Claire and Darren set up a gazebo with heaters so we could sit outside to keep to the local CO VID rules.

Monday, 5 October 2020

This weekend we have spent on the boat as the marina had organised events to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
I made Walnut and Chocolate Brownie and Almond slice to help raise funds.

Craig battled the wind to get us to Hinkley to take on supplies and then to battle on to Bridge 3.
After a cold and wet journey we were ready for Homemade Pizzas and a beer for Craig and wine for us.

The week started with weather so that we could sit out and have a BBQ but the last few days its been coats and meat and potatoe pie with baked apples stuffed with fruit and nuts.

Today we have reached the end of the Ashby taking a walk to the end of the restored section.
On the walk Ruby came across a little mouse.

Last night was BBQ night making the most of the warm weather.

Sunday we travelled along the Ashby Canal passing the Triumph motorcycle factory.
