 Today Birmingham celebrated 50 years of Black Sabbath with a tribute band in the island  on the island in Gas Street and three original band members in a barge.



 Yesterday Rita and Scooby came for a visit.

 Being moored in Cambrian Wharf has given us chance to spend our Christmas Token and my first attempt at bread making

 Today we travelled the old main line canal travelling under the M5.
as we travelled down the locks to join the new main line we managed to get a Futon mattress on the prop.
Tonight we are moored in Cambrian Wharf.





Yesterday we spent the day at the Black Country Museum having a fish and chip dinner cooked the old fashioned way.

 Tonight we are moored in the Black Country Museum and today we took a boat trip through the Dudley Tunnel to see the lime works.
Peter volunteered to foot the boat through the tunnel.






 Last night we had a over night stay in Wednesfield as we caught up with the boats that we moved on for the other day.


The other day we were ahead schedule and took a trip down the Cannock Extension Canal, if you keep walking after you reached the end you would get run over on the A5.

 Last nights moorings using available light, moved on today as flotilla of twenty boats were arriving at the moorings





 On Saturday it was Dianne's Birthday and we celebrated it with a meal in the White House Pub




 On Friday we moored at Longwood Junction and was recommended to go to the Manor Arms the pub with no bar.

After another rain soaked night we completed the Perry Bar Locks today to reach the much needed services.
