Yesterday our summer trip came to an end as we returned to Brinklow Marina

Picked up the new battery yesterday and fitted the new battery connections which were made by Ray.
This morning was the first morning we had excellent battery voltage figures.

 This is what happens when your sister goes to bark at somebody and knocks you off the boat into the canal as we approached Crick.

 Tonight we say our goodbyes to Dianne and Peter as we have travelled to Foxton Locks and enjoyed a meal in the Foxton Lock Inn.

Last night we had our last BBQ of the trip moored on the Leicester Branch and tried a steak tea.

 Dropped a faulty battery off in Northampton yesterday and then travelled up the Buckby flight to pick up the new washing machine. today
Then up the Watford flight to moor on the Leicester Line

 This Saturday Dave and Sue had an arduous journey to join us at Stoke Bruerne and to help us up the locks on Sunday.
Ending with a Sunday lunch in the pub.

When Ray was aboard he helped me to build a platform so that we can remove the old washing machine but Ruby decided it was a good opportunity to lean.

 Ray cruised us up the Aylesbury Arm tackling the staircase lock on the arm.
Then up the Grand Union where Jack and George had a go at the BBQ

 Last week we made our way to the Aylesbury Basin doing approximately 14 locks in the hottest weather yet.

Today we had an early start to chew our way off the Welford Arm to cruise down the Aylesbury Arm ready to pick up Ray and Dianne and Peter's grandchildren.
