Carol and Phil visited today as they live a few miles away.
Tonight we had a BBQ only to be disturbed by a combine harvester in the field opposite.

We have slowly chewed our way down the Wendover Arm for a couple of days.

We have travelled from Bulls Bridge to Denham Deep Lock and will be staying for a day or two as we are ahead of schedule.
So it has given us a chance to try something different on the BBQ and the dogs to swim in a river

As we cruised from Brentford to Bulls Bridge we tied the two boats together to cruise through the locks.

Monday, 9 July 2018

On our arrival at Brentford we agreed to take a boat into tow with a failed starter motor.
Then tonight it was to the pub for a couple of beers.

On leaving Teddington Lock we said good morning to a Port Authority patrol boat.
We also witnessed both ends of the Thames living.

Yesterday we left the River Wey and headed to Teddington Lock

Saturday, 7 July 2018

Our visit to the Wey comes to an end as we make our way to the Thames and then on to the tidal on Monday to Brentford
On Thursday Judy and Graeme joined us at Godalming and helped us cruise Dapdune Wharf
We reached the end of the navigable Wey at Godalming where each day a horse drawn boat is taken out.

Our first experience on the river Wey was canoeists taking a tow in our wash.
The trip has proven to be very picturesque and interesting.
