Yesterday we moored outside Hemel Hempstead as there was a floating market on the main moorings.
Hemel is where the 90s program Pie in the Sky was filmed starring Richard Griffiths, Maggie Steed, Malcolm Sinclair and Nick Raggett.

As we travelled on to Berkhamsted we noticed runners with numbers and when we asked they all started out in Birmingham and were ending up in Little Venice and had to travel over 48Hrs.
As it was quiet in Berkhamsted and there was a boat in front of us we travelled both boats together on tick over between locks.

As we left Marsworth and travelled through the Tring Cutting the sun shone prompting another BBQ.
We enjoyed the evening with our unusual neighbours.

We left the bottom of the Marsworth Flight on a Grey and damp morning.

Friday, 25 May 2018

Tonight we are moored at the bottom of the Marsworth Flight near the Tring Reservoirs, the top photo shows C.A.R.T.'s new logo and signs.

Tonight we are moored just below Slapton Lock near Cheddington
Tuesday we were invited to Carol and Phil's where we had a BBQ and Ruby spent the time chasing a ball.
We also took the dogs for a walk across the park.

Monday, 21 May 2018

Today we had a long cruise of about an hour to moor in Leighton Buzzard where we are going to stay for a day or two.

Sunday, 20 May 2018

After a five hour cruise tonight we are moored at Old Linslade just outside Leighton Buzzard.
Where we ate my first attempt at a egg and bacon pie.

Saturday, 19 May 2018

As we walked from the shops we learnt that the 1st October is Older persons Day funny that is Hilary's birthday!!!!
As it was such a lovely day it was time for another BBQ.

Though being moored in the middle of Milton Keynes it feels we are middle of the country.

We have moved off the Campell Park moorings and moved a few yards where they are building a new Marina and housing for the Bedford to Milton Keynes Link

Thursday, 17 May 2018

Today was a different day weather wise a bit warmer as we have cruised to Campbell Park in Milton Keynes.

What a difference a day makes, the day before we were having a BBQ on the towpath and yesterday it was shut up the boat and light the stove.

Tuesday, 15 May 2018

Today we stayed moored up so chance to give the boat the first polish after winter.
Also another chance for a BBQ.
