Our neighbours Know how celebrate Halloween

We have had a trip to Worcester to see Francis calling into the village for Fish and Chips, the village Youth Club made these poppies.

 A few pictures from this week starting with celebrating Maisie's birthday and then travelling to the boat making a detour to pick up a travel cage for the dogs to fit the car.

 Finally bedroom finished and the last little touches added.

 The last time we were at the boat went to visit Francis and the boat painter on the way back.
Since then I have been painting the bedroom at the cottage.
And today we completed the Memory Walk in Highlands Park

Today Dianne and Peter came to visit to sort their mooring for next year and then off to the pub for lunch.

Tonight was open mic. night at the local pub at Brinklow

 The fireplace has been stripped of paint, restored, painted and now has been installed in the bedroom

 After a busy few days I have now posted pictures of our trip to the Lake District with Dave and Sue last week.

Today we had a Maisie and Poppy day and visited the water park in Maldon.

The last four days I have been repairing and renovating a cast iron fireplace to put in Hilary's bedroom.

Yesterday we celebrated Sue's birthday

 Yesterday our summer trip came to an end as we returned to Brinklow Marina

Picked up the new battery yesterday and fitted the new battery connections which were made by Ray.
This morning was the first morning we had excellent battery voltage figures.

 This is what happens when your sister goes to bark at somebody and knocks you off the boat into the canal as we approached Crick.

 Tonight we say our goodbyes to Dianne and Peter as we have travelled to Foxton Locks and enjoyed a meal in the Foxton Lock Inn.
