Before completing our Erewash trip we stopped off in Zouch to finish the trip with a night in the pub.

 We have now started our journey back to Pillings and tonight we are moored on Padmoore Moorings once again.

 These are some pictures of some of the original buildings from the original canal use after the restoration of the area.

 This afternoon we took the dogs where the Cromford canal stops and where in the near future it will be reinstated.
Meanwhile Cassie and Ruby took a dip in the existing waterway coming out not smelling their best.

Today we have made the journey to Langley Mill where in a few minutes we travelled on the Erewash, Cromford and Nottingham Canals within the basin.

Yesterday we moored in Sandiacre  on the Padmoore Moorings where we enjoyed the sun.

We have cruised to the Erewash Canal stopping off at Trent Lock to have a couple beers in the pub.

 Today we left Pillings for a short trip taking in the Erewash Canal

 We have made it back to the boat and there was a fantastic sunset tonight.

 What with the decorating at Hilary's cottage and carrying out some work at Bailey Bridge its time to go to the boat for a well earned rest.

 On Monday we celebrated Claire and Craig's 30th birthday at T.G.I Friday in Braintree.

James and his dog Andy visited today and as the weather was so great that we decided to enjoy the sun and eat our lunch outside.

Meanwhile I have completed the decorating at Hilary's cottage.

 I have been so busy that I have not posted for a long while so here goes.
We have paid a visit to Hilary's cousin Carol, Phil and Jodie the dog several weeks ago.
