On Friday we celebrated Claire's marriage to Darren.
Everybody had a great day despite the bad weather leading up to the big day.

We then headed to Royden Marina where we were going to leave the boat for a week so that we were going to attend Claire's wedding.
Ray then spent the rest of the week cruising to Hertford which is the end of the Navigation passing the Olympic Park on our way.

On the Sunday we were joined by Helen, Tim, Dominic and Heather to help us from Paddington to Limehouse.

Arriving in Paddington Basin on a Wednesday afternoon we were then joined by Ray on the Saturday to take us on to the Lee and Stort
On Hilary's return we left Uxbridge for Bulls Bridge where we left the following morning to make the journey to Paddington Basin.

The blog site didn't support the Windows new Edge browser which has caused all the problems, so normal service has resumed.
Just before the troubles Hilary returned to Essex for Claire's hen do.

Since uploading Windows 10 which rendered the computer unusable and then using all data trying to correct the problems has meant that I couldn't update the blog.
This week I have sorted the Windows 10 issues and now the computer is working only to discover that I cannot download pictures to the blog.
So as soon as I cure this problem I will update from the last post to the current day.

And we think we live in a goldfish bowl, but it doesn't stop the HS2 coming through.

On our way to Uxbridge we saw some boats with some strange additions.

Six years ago the gorilla hanging from a derelict building looked pristine, but being exposed to weather he now looks decidedly worn.

Who said the Loch Ness monster didn't exist it just moved to the Grand Union.
Today we officially entered the London area by cruising within the M25.

Tonight we are moored just outside Kings Langley, Hilary took control of the boat at some locks giving me a chance to do the locks.

Ray came to visit us yesterday staying over night with us, after Ray had left us we decided to cruise on where we encountered a lock that refused to open when filled.
Sewer lock refused to open despite the efforts of several people pulling on the lock gate.
After emptying and refilling the lock gave in, Sue and Dave may remember the lock as we had a BBQ just before the lock one year.

We were moored at Cowroast on Friday when we had a visit from a hot air balloon and lovely sunset beckoned another nice day for a cruise into Berkhampstead.
