Today started with us tackling the deepest lock on the system which is the Top lock of the Tardebigge Flight ( lock no.58)
We were very glad that we had the early start as the temperature rose, but we were lucky enough to have Canal Trust worker help us by setting some locks in front of us.

Yesterday was a 7am start as we faced travelling up the Tardebigge flight of 30 locks.

The last couple days we have cruised enjoying the sun that has finally decided to shine, tonight we are preparing to have a early start to cruise up the Tardebigge flight of 30 locks.
On our return we moved the boat to Diglis Basin where we had to charge the batteries as we left them connected to run a bilge pump whilst we were away and repair a seat that we broke off on our travels down the River Severn, we took the opportunity to visit Hilary's parents.
We left Essex saying goodbye to the family after suffering the failure of our phones to the collapse of the O2 system and our computer crashing, which has meant many hours restoring the computer on our return.

We have just spent a few weeks back at Essex and received my birthday presents from the family with the help of Maisie and Cassie
