The day ended in a towpath BBQ with Bill and Virginia Joining us.

Yesterday Helen,Trish, Heather,Tim and Dominic visited and had a cruise to the Slough Arm and back passing this boat on the way.

Earlier this week Caroline and James came to see us, we had to shelter from the rain just before reaching the boat.

 Cassie and Gunner had to wait nearly two hours for the rain to stop earlier this week at Denham Country Park.

 As we left Rickmansworth we saw Rick Mayall filming the next Bombadier advert.

We have stayed in Rickmansworth and yesterday we had a great afternoon with Ginny and Bill from Wilvir.

Yesterday the family came up to celebrate my birthday, after lunch we cruised in the sunshine.

Today we have cruised back to Kings Langley as tomorrow we have the family coming up from Essex.

Today was my birthday and we went out for a chinese, the picture shows me making a mess of a peking duck roll.

On the trip down to Rickmansworth we stayed at Cassiobury Park, with the cold overnight rain and warm canal we had misty start to the trip.

Before Sue and Dave left we had Sunday lunch in the Saracens Head Kings Langley.

Dave and Sue left us yesterday but not before Dave carried out a hull inspection when he slipped boarding the boat and had a complete ducking.

Behind in posting due to to poor signal, on our travels with Dave and Sue we stopped off at Hemel Hempstead where Cassie cooled off after playing ball.

Today we have had a fairly short cruise ending the day with a BBQ on the towpath.

Hilary has cruised the boat from Tring Cutting to Berkhampstead with only one mishap as a boat tried to enter the lock before she had managed to exit the boat.

As we cruised up the arm we had to pass a wreck or two.

Yesterday we left the Wenddover Arm, Dave was on point duty in case we got stuck in the mud.

Dave cruised the boat through Marsworth locks just before we ploughed our way down the Wendover Arm.
The water shortage has caused some problems the last few days.

Yesterday would have been dad's birthday and today is 8 years since we lost mum.

Both are greatly missed.
