 The Basin at night

Yesterday Maralyn and Eric fellow moorers in Brinklow visited and after lunch Eric suggested visiting a Butterfly Farm.

We are now moored in Stratford Upon Avon after the weekend Boat Festival getting ready to travel on the River Avon.

I am bit behind with the posts as we had Craig aboard for a week and he helped us to cruise from Birmingham to just before Stratford Upon Avon, as we travelled to Stratford we were informed that there was a boat festival and had to cut the cruising short.

Tonight we are moored in the Black Country Museum and today we took a boat trip through the Dudley Tunnel to see the lime works.
Peter volunteered to foot the boat through the tunnel.

Last night we had a over night stay in Wednesfield as we caught up with the boats that we moved on for the other day.

The other day we were ahead schedule and took a trip down the Cannock Extension Canal, if you keep walking after you reached the end you would get run over on the A5.
