We have travelled up the Thames passing a boat once owned by a Deep Purple band member and was used as a music studio.
We are now moored on the River Wey in Guildford.

Today we had a very choppy trip up the tidal Thames with Tim on the helm.

On Friday we moored outside Formans Smoke House on the River Lee so would have been rude not to try some of the smoked salmon and then go to the restaurant in the evening.

Yesterday James came to Lunch at Broxbourne as today we travelled to Ponders End.
It gave me a chance to wash the boat and enjoy the view of the horses from our window.

After two long days cruising and discovering Sawbridgeworth full of long term moorer's  and finally finding a mooring for two boats it was time for a BBQ.
It was then decided we would cut our visit short and book five days in Royden Marina.

We started our journey up the Stort but it soon become apparent with long term moored boats our plans to stay in Sawbridgeworth were in jeopardy.

 Tomorrow we leave Hertford to start our journey on the River Stort

Yesterday we travelled to Ware and had Italian meal to celebrate Phil's birthday.

On Friday we celebrated Dianne's birthday and Claire and Maisie Joined us at the boat.
