Before we headed to the boat to celebrate ten years since The Maisibert was put into the water we had to endure a lot of snow.
There has been a lot of snow at the boat also Icebergs in the marina.

Today we travelled to Worcester and with the help of Hilary's stepbrother Robin we chose a place to spread Hilary's dad's ashes.
Then we popped into see Francis.

 Today we met Al and Del off Derwent 6

We also visited Hilary's family after the sudden death of Chris on Sunday may he rest in peace.

 Today we remembered people who were special to us who are now at rest R.I.P. Mum, Dad, Aunty Joyce and Hilary's mum.

Yesterday we said our goodbyes to Hilary's old neighbour Moira.

We have had Dianne and Peter stay for a few days and we took them down memory lane by taking them to a Suffolk village they lived forty years ago.

We have spent the last few days at the boat and had the chance to catch up with Del and Al off Derwent 6 and Jackie and John.
Saturday and Sunday we had snow which delayed our visit to see Francis

 Today we had an old friend of Hilary's for lunch and he brought some pictures of Hilary in her younger days.

 The last two weeks I have been working on Hilary's cottage re building the airing cupboard and getting the loft ready for a new water tank.
The top door on the airing cupboard is thanks to brother Ray skills.

 We had a great evening to see the New Year in with Elaine and Bob.

Thursday night we had our traditional family get together at the Bocking Club.

Today we visited Hilary's friend Pam who lives in Switzerland and who was staying with her sister in Brightlingsea.

 After completing the work on the heating it was then to make mince pies and buns for when Claire, Darren, Maisie and Poppy came for Christmas Eve lunch.
Then Ray and Craig joined for Christmas Day dinner and Sacha joined us in the evening to see the dogs open their presents.

 The lead up to Christmas was very busy as Hilary had the boiler replaced at the cottage.
So the old airing cupboard had to go, new cold supply and wiring in a new controller for the plumber's and then rebuilding the airing cupboard before Craig came to stay Christmas Eve.

We just spent a few days on the boat and took the chance to visit Hilary's step mother.
Last night was the Marina Christmas dinner and we took the chance to meet fellow boaters.
It was bright crisp morning at the marina when we left.

 Hilary's boiler has now packed up so the rush is on to get things ready for the new one.
Meanwhile Ruby see's her first real snow and the neighbours tree struggled under the weight of the snow.

The last few weeks I have been working in Hilary's loft laying the floor, pointing the gable end and make preparations for moving the boiler to the loft.
