Today was our last day in Liverpool and we visited the Cavern Club where Diane got immersed in the atmosphere and danced to the music.
We finished the day with a Thai meal and a few pints in the Pump House.

 The day started with a ferry across the Mersey followed by a visit to Paul McCartney and John Lennon's houses where they had lived.
The visit to houses was arranged by Dave and Sue as a birthday present

Wednesday we had a quick half in the Pump House before all the family and friends got together for an Italian meal to celebrate my birthday

 Wednesday as a birthday present from Diane and Peter we did the Beatle Experience by taxi visiting places connected to the Fab Four.

On Tuesday we took a little cruise to the marina followed by a visit to the original Liverpool Dock which is under a major shopping centre.

Whilst shopping yesterday I noticed this moth sunning it's self on a tree amongst the shoppers.

Whilst in the church we lit three candles in memory of Hilary's Mum and my Mum and Dad.

 As the week of celebration continues the weekend festival came to end and Ray, Craig, Sacha and Siobhan returned to Essex.
Yesterday Helen and Tim joined us where we visited the Anglian Church and finished the day with an evening meal.

 

 Today we said goodbye to Claire, Darren and family and said hello to Ray, Craig , Sacha and Siobhan whilst the water festival started in the Dock.

 Yesterday was a time to look around the waterfront and take in the sights.
We also bowed to pressure to put bunting on the boat for the festival.

 Today we had a walk around the shopping centre in  Liverpool and this evening it was an Italian meal where Claire and family presented me with a birthday cake.
