Hilary returned on Monday after her niece's wedding in Ireland.
Tomorrow Caroline and James are coming to visit us at Foxton, we are hoping the weather will improve.

Today I left Market Harborough to start nine days on my own with Cassie.

Yesterday Hilary left to attend her nieces wedding in Ireland as Cassie is five years old on Tuesday she had one of her presents early.

Yesterday in fantastic weather we travelled on to Market Harborough passing the wonderful sight of the bone factory.
Today I had a frustrating day replacing the tiller bearing.

We have just moved down the locks today as it was a Sunday we had plenty of help from the on lookers.
We have moored just on the Leciester Arm and the wind has blown very hard causing two boats to collide with us.

Today we have moved on travelling through Husband Bosworth Tunnel, after being beaten by hale stones we arrived at Foxton Locks.

Yesterday afternoon we moored at the end of the Welford Arm where we joined Al and Del and today we had lunch at the pub.

The last couple of days we have stayed at Crick after coming through a very wet Crick Tunnel.
Last night we were joined by another member of the Heartwood family Y Not.

The summer trip started today as we left Stowe Hill and headed for Market Harborugh.
Tonight we are moored on the Leicester Arm and would you believe it is short of water.

Tonight to celebrate the end of winter and the start of the summer cruising season the Stowe Hill Mob went out for a bowling evening.
What with bowling, booze and food a great time was had by all

We completed our stay on the winter moorings by being very British by having a BBQ on a cold windy and wet evening.
The following day we travelled to Gayton Junction.

Tuesday went to see Diane and Peter at Pillings Lock, Peter cooked a curry and then we went on to plan the summer cruise.

After visiting Hilary's dad for his 91st birthday in Worcester we travelled on to Wolverhampton and met Rita and Scooby.
We had a great meal last night and had brunch today before leaving.
Cassie enjoyed her time as well.

Yesterday we took full advantage of the early spring sunshine by taking a long walk with Cassie across the fields.
This is now she is down to her recommended weight.

Whilst back in Braintree Maisie enjoyed her first try of a hot tub at friends Helen and Tim.
 



Today would have been Mum's birthday and always in our thoughts.
 The Maisibert was put in the water 5 years today.

Yesterday we spent the afternoon and evening with Sue and Dave starting the afternoon with a brisk walk.

We have spent this weekend on Intrepid at Mercia Marina and yesterday visited Dianne and Peter.
