As a tribute to Hilary's Mum and my parents we thought we would launch a couple of Chinese lanterns in their memory.

New Years day and the weather is perfect for walking away the cobwebs.

So we take Cassie for a long walk along the Nene Way.

We have just spent christmas in Braintree. This is the scene we woke up to the other Monday and looking at the weather forecast we may see the same later in the week.

We had to encourage Cassie to jump the sea defences.

Our spell of caring for Hilarys parents was broken up with a visit to Hilarys relations in Bognor Regis.

I have not posted lately as we been looking after Hilarys parents as they have been in hospital.

Yesterday we took a short trip to Bugbrooke to re fuel and to give the boat a run.

We are now on our winter mooring at Weedon and one of our neighbours is into Saxon Re-enactment and invited us to go to a re-enactors market.

At this market you could purchase anything for the period of history that you are interested in including weapons,costumes and food.

Have not posted lately as I have been working back in Braintree.

Returned to the boat for a couple of days to take Trish for a cruise and help look for a weekend boat.

Today we had Ray,Tara and Sacha up for the day to travel from Weedon to Whilton and back.

We saw these llamas on a walk with Cassie at Flore.

The last week or so we have stayed at Weedon as I have travelled back to Braintree for work.

We are currently at Bugbrooke.

We travelled back to the boat on Thursday and Friday we had Pat and Shelley from Australia and Pats mum on the boat for a trip from Norton Junction to Weedon.

I have not updated the blog lately as we have been celebrating Hilary's big birthday and have been away from the boat, with us ending the celebrations in Prague.
